Teapot Mother's Day Card Idea

Don't give your Mom a store bought Mother's Day card this year! You can whip up this darling teapot greeting card using supplies you most likely already have in your card-making stash!

I created this 5x7 card by layering green and white polka dot card stock and blue card stock. Then I hand cut a tea pot design from a pretty floral Amy Butler card stock pattern. I topped off this card with layered paper flowers with a rhinestone brad center. Inside I stamped Happy Mother's Day.

Happy Crafting!

I'm unfortunately not a mother yet so I can't comment from that perspective but I can tell you the best present I felt that I'd ever given my mum was a handmade pencil/pen holder made from clay with my artwork and the word 'mum' on it.

The best Mother's Day gift I have ever received was handmade by my 9 year old daughter, a decorated shoe box with a paper flower inside wrapped in pink tissue paper; it was a sweet gesture. She is now 15 years old and I still keep my pretty box.
