It's Christmas Eve! This is usually the last day the elves visit our house until the next year. They make their journey back to the North Pole to spend time with Santa and to go relax on the beach until Christmastime rolls around again.
Looking for an easy Elf on the Shelf idea? We put together a sack race using brown paper sacks and the kids' toys. Captain America wins the race, of course!

Our kiddos are HUGE dinosaur fans. Since Jurassic World was such a hit in our home this year, we decided the elves needed a little dino adventure. We bought the oversized plastic ball at a local pet store to create the "gyrosphere" from the Jurassic World movie and surrounded it with the kids plastic dinosaurs.

I love the new Elf Pets! This year, our elves Red and Holly adopted a reindeer named Jingle. She came with a fun book for the kids to read.

Break out the crepe paper for this one! Our Elf created a festive barrier across the bedroom door for our son to run through in the morning. This set up makes for a fun video.

Running out of spots in the house for Elf mischief? Don't forget the car! One day our Elf Red took Mom's car out for a joy ride. But to make up for it, he filled up Mom's gas tank. This set up can be a fun surprise for the kids when you take them to school in the morning.

Elves need a hearty breakfast after all the mischief they get into. Just whip up some tiny pancakes and stack them on a plate for a special Elf treat. Yum!

It's a Shoe Shoe train! Just line up several pair of shoes to create a "train" through your living room with your Elf as the conductor. All aboard for fun!
